Off-piste skiing in Tärnaby - read our guide to the best places!

In Tärnaby, Laxfjället offers wonderful off-piste skiing. Here you can easily find your favourite places for varied skiing in the mountains. Experience the freedom of real mountain terrain and completely untouched areas.

TIPS! You can easily see suggestions for great off-piste skiing on our piste map, the pink areas easily guide you to good areas.

ATTENTION! All skiing outside marked and prepared slopes is called off-piste skiing and is at your own risk. Anyone travelling in ungroomed terrain should have good knowledge of avalanche danger assessment. Follow signs and markings and stay updated on indicated avalanche danger and current avalanche information.

Café Tärningen - come in for a coffee or a snack during the Sportlovet

At the foot of the Ingemar lift you'll find Café Tärningen, which offers good skiing food and refreshments during the sports holidays.

Delicious hot sandwiches, goulash soup, lunch of the day, sandwiches and wraps. Until spring winter, there is also a barbecue menu on the terrace.

Opening hours 10:00-16:00 daily during holidays.

Come in for a tasty snack or coffee!


Tarnaby Activities Bowling 2

Bowling - challenge your family and friends during the Sports Holidays

Don't miss out on bowling in Tärnaby. After a day on the slopes, a fun round of bowling will be perfect.

Tärnaby Bowling is located at Folkan in Tärnaby. There are four lanes and everything you need to bowl. Ice cream, coffee, etc. are available for purchase.

Ingemarbacken Sasongspremiar Tarnaby Alpint 2025 without text web ver1

Snowmaking is underway in Ingemarbacken 22/1-28/1 and is then closed

Now we will work for a few days with snowmaking in Ingemarbacken. During that time, the slope will be closed - so from Thursday 22/1 to Wednesday 28/1 you will be able to carve fine corduroy on our other slopes.

All other slopes and lifts are open as usual - but of course subject to weather conditions. For more information on open slopes and lifts see our piste report here on the website.

Dark skating in Tärnaby - the success of last season is back!

A favourite all over again - we're doing night skiing again in Tärnaby. Come and try it out in Ingemarbacken during the summer holidays.

We switch off and let you ride with headlamps around Ingemarbacken. A guaranteed experience for everyone. Bring your own headlamp or buy/borrow one on the slope.

We've also lit up parts of the slope to create a lovely atmosphere. Sit by one of our fires and watch them come down in the dark.
