Hemavan Tärnaby becomes Hemavan and Tärnaby
The two ski resorts of Hemavan and Tärnaby have long been communicated as a single ski destination through a single brand. Now Hemavan Alpint and Tärnaby Alpint have jointly decided to share the brand to make it clearer for guests to take part in each destination's offer.
Hemavan and Tärnaby are today two ski resorts in Norrland that offer first-class mountain experiences to thousands of visitors both in summer and winter. Hemavan Alpint owns and operates the ski resort in Hemavan while Tärnaby Alpint does the same in Tärnaby. Pontus Lindh is Marketing Manager at Hemavan Alpint and says the following about the change that will take effect from 30 August:
- Hemavan and Tärnaby are two ski resorts with many similarities, but also differences. In order to clarify each destination, we have concluded together with Tärnaby Alpint that our two ski resorts will develop best with a new profiling and clarity of the brands. In this way, both our customer promises will be clearer, which will be better for us, and above all for our guests.
The change will mainly be noticeable visually as Hemavan Alpint and Tärnaby Alpint will now have their own visual identities and websites. The collaboration on a joint lift pass will continue, which means that guests can continue to ski in both resorts with one and the same lift pass.
- We continue to work closely together and the customer perspective has been the basis for deciding which parts we work on together and which we need to emphasise separately. For our part, this means above all that we can now clarify Tärnaby Alpint for guests and highlight skiing in Tärnaby. We are now looking forward to the coming season and to welcoming both new and returning guests," says David Johansson, CEO of Tärnaby Alpint.
Hemavan Alpint's website changes its name from hemavantarnaby.com to hemavan.nu, where you can find inspiration, information and bookings as before. Tärnaby Alpint launches its new website tarnabyalpint.se where you can find information and inspiration from Tärnaby's ski resort. The joint lift pass that applies to both resorts is easily booked on the respective websites.

A snowmobile licence, medical training and a B driving licence are an advantage.
