Facts about the Ingemar trophy

The Ingemartrophy is Sweden's only international alpine youth competition with approximately 300 participants aged 11-16 from around the world.

Ingemar's Trophy is part of a group of competitions including Alpe Cimbra, Pinocchio (both in Italy), Borrufa (Andorra), and Whistler Cup (Canada), and holds a high status. The competition consists of three days of racing in the giant slalom, slalom disciplines, and concluding with a parallel slalom.

End of season 2023 - with a focus on alpine racing

Ingemar Trophy and FIS competitions

First up is the international youth competition Ingemar trophy 21/4-23/4 named after the legendary skier Ingemar Stenmark.

The following week, international events will be organised FIS competitions 27/4-30/4 for the older riders competing in Sweden's last event of the season.

Both competitions attract riders not only from Sweden but from many other countries. The organiser of the competitions is The mountain wind.

During the final weeks of April and the beginning of May, many training groups and clubs choose to hold their final training sessions of the season in Tärnaby. There will be many racers on the slopes.

We look forward to the last weeks of the season and all the racers, leaders, parents and racing enthusiasts who will visit Tärnaby and we will do everything we can from Tärnaby Alpint's side to create good conditions. Let's go and good luck to everyone at the races.
