World-class training
Tärna IK Fjällvinden in Tärnaby is Sweden's, possibly the world's, most successful alpine ski club of all time. The club has been represented in several Olympic Games and World Championships.
Over 130 victories
Tärnaby's skiers have together taken over 130 victories in the Alpine World Cup and several second and third places. From the club come names like Ingemar Stenmark, Anja Pärson, Stig Strand, Jens Byggmark, Magdalena Fjällström and many more.
Commitment and tradition
Tärna IK Fjällvinden is a club with great commitment and a long tradition, which works for the development of alpine sports. Today we have several new skiers, both on the youth side and at junior and senior level. The club organises several competitions in Tärnaby every year, with one of the biggest events being the Ingemartrofen, Sweden's only international youth competition that attracts skiers from several European countries.
