Evening skiing in Minimonne during the Easter holidays
During the Easter holidays, we are open for evening skiing in Minimonne at Sporthotellet. A favourite for children and young people in the evening.
Open: 12/4 to 20/4, from 18:00 to 20:00.

Bowling - challenge family and friends during Easter holidays
Don't miss out on bowling in Tärnaby. After a day on the slopes, a fun round of bowling will be perfect.
Tärnaby Bowling is located at Folkan in Tärnaby. There are four lanes and everything you need to bowl. Ice cream, coffee, etc. are available for purchase.

Tärnaby - venue for the last races of the season in Sweden
On 29/4-30/4 the last competitions of the season in Sweden for FIS skiers will be held in Tärnaby. During week 18, skiers from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Italy, USA and others gather to train and compete in the last competitions of the season.
The competitions will be held during week 18, starting on Tuesday.
Please note that during week 18, lift opening times may change depending on the weather. This is because we want to create the best possible conditions for all racers who visit us during the closing week.

Ingemar Trophy 2025 - racers from around the world gather in Tärnaby
It's time for the most fun youth races of the year in Tärnaby. There will be plenty of action on the slopes this weekend, 25-27 April, when racers from all over the world gather in Tärnaby to compete in Sweden's only international youth competition.

Facts about the Ingemar trophy
The Ingemar Trophy is Sweden's only international alpine youth competition with about 300 participants between 11-16 years from all over the world. The Ingemar Trophy is part of a group of competitions including Alpe Cimbra, Pinocchio (both in Italy), Borrufa (Andorra) and Whistler Cup (Canada) and has a high status. The competition consists of three days of competition in the disciplines of giant slalom, slalom and with a final parallel slalom.

Our popular ski school must unfortunately be cancelled for Easter 2025! Fortunately, we have a wide range of other children's and family activities that we hope will be suitable and will brighten up your Easter holidays. :)
You are warmly welcome back to our ski school Skidkul next season.
Tärnaby Alpine Skiing
Our goal is to let the children experience something fun and exciting while we develop their skiing together. While the children are at Skidkul, you as parents can take the opportunity to ski yourself in the facility. We ski together on the children's slope at Ingemarbacken. The skier's level should be blue or red (more info about the levels below) as we ski and test different exciting things on the children's slope.
Maximum number: 8 children per session.
Equipment: Poles/ skis/ helmet.

Green colour - Complete beginners on skis/snowboard. Together we practise braking, turning and riding a lift.
Blue colour - Can brake, turn and lift on skis/snowboard. Together we will take your skiing to the next level.
Red colour - Want to learn/challenge techniques in skiing/snowboarding.

Sweden's best ski resort - time to vote!
Freeride has now launched a vote for the best ski resort in Sweden - with Tärnaby/Hemavan as a joint ski system included as one option.
Tärnaby is also included in the categories...
Sweden's best piste - where we represent with Ingemarbacken.
Sweden's best hiking areas - where Vindelfjällen-Tärnafjällen is an alternative.
Sweden's best bakery restaurant - which includes Tärnaby Sporthotell and Tärnaby Fjällhotell.
Hemavan is also represented in the category of Sweden's best slope restaurant, but also in Sweden's best park, Sweden's best ski resort for families with children and Sweden's best off-piste mountain.
The vote is open until 31 March and everyone who votes has the chance to win skis from Kia and skiwear from Houdini.

Try dark skating in Tärnaby during the sports holidays!
A returning favourite - we're running night skiing again in Tärnaby. Come and try it in Ingemarbacken during the sports holidays.
We switch off and let you ride with headlamps around Ingemarbacken. A guaranteed experience for everyone. Bring your own headlamp or buy/borrow one on the slope.
We've also lit up parts of the slope to create a lovely atmosphere. Sit by one of our fires and watch them come down in the dark.
