Tärnaby Bowling is located at Folkan in Tärnaby. There are four lanes and everything you need to bowl. Ice cream, coffee, etc. are available for purchase.

Exercise in the mountains
What could be more right than going to the mountains for a training holiday. Here you can run or walk on many trails and paths that take you directly up the mountain. Experience a training session on Laxfjället with running in unbeatable nature. Tärnaby also offers great electric light trails and if you want, you can work out in one of the hotels' gyms. If you want to run races in a mountain environment, you can find Fjällvinden's running competitions on their website.
There is also a new and exciting outdoor gym at Vikmyran.
Cycling
Tärnaby offers many opportunities for cyclists. Up in the mountains or along exciting roads and paths. Cycling is a perfect way to experience nature and there are several exciting excursion destinations that you can easily reach by bike.

Paddling
Glide over calm mountain lakes and along peaceful rivers, enjoying the Västerbotten mountains from the water. In Tärnaby you can easily hire a canoe at Tärnaby Mountain Hotel and start paddling there, or take your canoe or kayak to one of the many waterways in the neighbourhood. A nature experience for life.
Hiking in the mountains
Whether you are a seasoned hiker or a new mountain enthusiast, Tärnaby has the mountain hike for you. Laxfjället, Ryfjället, Atoklimpen and Drottningleden are some of the trails that offer unforgettable nature experiences for the whole family.
Fishing
Tärnaby and its surroundings offer easy fishing for the family and more advanced waters for the keen angler. Whether you want to spin fish, fly fish or fish from a boat, you will have a world-class fishing experience.
You can fish on mountain lakes in state waters above the cultivation boundary, in which case you need a County Administrative Board fishing licence. In the valleys, there are several fisheries management areas (FVO) to choose from.
