More about the competition
This weekend, around 130 boys and 100 girls will come to Tärnaby to compete in the International NJR FIS organised by Fjällvinden. The conditions look to be really good for the skiers when they start their race in Ingemarbacken on Saturday. NJR is a junior competition where the competitors are born between 2005-2009.

Season premiere - come and ski in Tärnaby on Saturday 15 November
We are now starting the skiing in Tärnaby. On Saturday 15 November at 10:00 we open Ingemarbacken for the season. We are ready for another winter with lots of skiing adventures in the mountains!
Lift passes for the pre-season in Tärnaby can be bought at Ingemarbacken. If you have the annual pass for Tärnaby / Hemavan, it is already valid from the season premiere.
We are working as quickly as we can to open up more of the area around Ingemarbacken, and we will be posting this information on our social media channels.

Reduced lift pass prices for the next winter season

Easter is in full swing and Tärnaby/Hemavan looks set for a new record season in terms of the number of guests visiting the ski resorts. Ahead of the 2025/2026 winter season, we have decided to lower the prices of our season passes. The aim is to make skiing in northern Sweden's largest ski area more accessible to more people.
The price adjustments that are now being implemented mainly apply to everyone who plans to ski a lot in Tärnaby/Hemavan next season. The price of season passes will be reduced by just over 6 % for everyone who books their season pass by 7 May.

Evening skiing in Minimonne during the Easter holidays
During the Easter holidays, we are open for evening skiing in Minimonne at Sporthotellet. A favourite for children and young people in the evening.
Open: 12/4 to 20/4, from 18:00 to 20:00.

A returning favourite - we're running night skiing again in Tärnaby. Come and try it in Ingemarbacken during the sports holidays.
We switch off and let you ride with headlamps around Ingemarbacken. A guaranteed experience for everyone. Bring your own headlamp or buy/borrow one on the slope.
We've also lit up parts of the slope to create a lovely atmosphere. Sit by one of our fires and watch them come down in the dark.

Hill Cross in Ingemarbacken is back
Come and experience a fun and fast-paced snowmobile race with lots of curves up Ingemarbacken.
This is the first event in the Burkar Cup where there is competition with slightly older scooters. Everything from youth class to racing class and also a children's class 200cc.
Date: Saturday 1 February.
First start at 18.00. Come in good time!
Food and coffee service. Even long before the first start.
Admission SEK 100, children up to 15 years free.
ATTENTION! Public car park at Skytteanska skolan, from there you get a free ride by bus sponsored by Slussfors Taxi.
The organiser is Tärna Snowmobile Club.
