Enjoyment in the long run
Tärnaby offers fantastic cross-country skiing opportunities. Our trails of either 3.3 or 5.0 kilometres are prepared early in the season and are well lit. You will also find a daylight trail of 11 kilometres. The trails start from Vikmyra ski stadium where there are waxing rooms, changing rooms and toilets. You can easily reach Vikmyra ski station on foot, or take the car and park next to the tracks.
Cross-country tracks in Tärnaby
Electric light trails:
3.3 kilometres. Skate and classic. Moderately demanding.
5.0 km. Skate and classic. Demanding, hilly.
Daylight railways:
Green track 11 km. Skate and classic. Demanding, hilly. At the highest point of the trail, skiers are rewarded for their hard work with a beautiful view of Lake Gäutan and Ryfjället.
Cross-country track in Ängesdalslia
This trail starts at Ängesdalslia and connects to the mile trail in Tärnaby, and then ends at the Vikmyra ski stadium in Tärnaby. The track in Ängedalslia will be groomed from mid-February. Read more about the cross-country track in Ängedalslia in the downloadable PDF below.
